2023 New England Aerospace Robotics Competition
The 2023 New England Aerospace Robotics Competition will be held at St. Anselm College in Manchester, NH in the spring.
The Aerospace Robotics Competition is a high school drone competition designed to give students experience with designing, building, programming, and flying aerospace systems. The competition is a fun and challenging yet accessible to all students regardless of educational and financial background. Students will gain relevant and important life skills such as problem solving, technical communication, and team work by participating in this exciting competition.
This year's spring kit competition will focus heavily on engineering and drone operations skills. Teams will be asked to carry out a variety of design tasks from designing autonomously released mechanisms to developing flight plans and executing it on the drone. We are very excited about the competition we have come up with, and can't wait to see the teams fly their designs in the spring! Mentors who can help teams develop engineering and life skills while participating in this fun experience will be assigned to each team. For more details about this year’s challenge, the draft rulebook has been released and you can find it here: RULEBOOK

$600~800 Kit Drone: Drone cost is dependent on whether the team purchases the drone (at cost) through STEM-ED and we deliver it in kit format to the school or if the school would rather purchase on their own. The drone will be the school's to keep and can be used in future years of the competition. Kit details can be found here: Kit Details.
